I have been going to GBNT since the age of 9 back in 1975 with my parents, then bought in myself 16 years ago. We have a total of 5 memberships within my family. Although there are things that may happen that not everyone agrees with, this park IS a great place for families. It is not run by horrible people and the ladies in the office are VERY kind and helpful as well as knowledgeable.
I agree that at times the rules can get to be a pain as do some of the staff and members. Don't we all have our moments? My feeling is this, you get out of the park what you put in. If you cause problems or conflict, you get them in return. You mind your own business and just enjoy, people will leave you to it. Trust me, I have 36 years of experience and camping fun to back up what I say.
I am sorry June had such a bad experience. I for one have wonderful memories growing up in the park and I hope one day my boys will feel the same.
