It is a shame that you feel this way. I think A-1 pizza has been the same for the over thirty years they have been open. It is run by the same family who are very hospitable and always cater to what each costumer wants. There pizza not only has awards for best chesse pizza many years in a row, their speaciality pizzas are amazing and they are always thinking of new ones to add. There pizza is incomparable to others due to the fact they use cheddar cheese and not mottzerella like many other places. Their grinders are great. They put just enough meant a veggies to make a full sandwhich and not too much to where everything is falling out. They alwasy have new items they are adding and trying out and place on their menu to what their customers like. Any delivery time for a pizza place that is not a chain is probably about 45 minutes on teh island but you can only hire so many drivers plus you have to accountt he time it takes to cook the food. I have been highly satisfied with a-1 my entire life, they are indeed the best family owned resturant around. And their gyros are awesome!!!
