Was looking up local HB jewelry stores on yelp and citysearch so I can repair a pricey earing and also sell off some jewelry I'm no longer using. Thought I'd look at the store we've used in the past and decided to write a review. \r

Have been to Facets a number of times and the location in the Seacliff shopping center is great. The people I've met there have been very casual but extremely welcoming and helpful. We bought my husband's wedding band there, which has held up very well and we thought was a fair price. Definitely a jeweler rather than one of those mall box shops. Have also had minor jewelry repairs done there without problem. They always offer up a free jewelry cleaning or jar of cleaner and were very nice to my child when he had to accompany us one time. Have also sold some gold back to them and that was handled smoothly. Only problems we've encountered are lengthy repair time or not calling us when it's done, but we weren't in a hurry. Like that when they clean my jewelry I can stand and watch to ensure my stones aren't changed out, which is a fear of mine at any jeweler. \r

Overall I think this is a good store. Their stock seems okay, but not amazing. Do have to agree about the alcohol smell one time, which also made me a bit uncomfortable. Perhaps this is why I'm looking for another option. However, I would be willing to return at this point given the convenient location.
