have been shopping there for many, many years, always using a check. They now have a policy of no checks unless you have been approved. When I asked how I can go about getting approved, they said, ""Too late. The approval time is over."" I had no cash on me (there was no sign that I saw that said no checks, by the way), so I couldn't buy my groceries. After shopping around and getting everything I needed, I had to put it all back and they made no effort at all to work with me on thiis. I think that it is very, very bad in this economy to turn away long-standing customers.
