$42 walking rate is just way overpriced for this short course. Also, the staff at this course extremely rude. Here's the story. My buddy and I were on the 17th hole. All of the sudden, a member of the staff comes flying down the hill in a cart and proceeds to yell at us at the top of his lungs for having our cart too close to the green.
Now, our cart was parked about 20 yards from the green, so our bad on that because of the 30 yard rule. However, this guy was so rude to us we were in shock! The proper way to talk to a paying customer would be: ""Excuse me sirs, your cart is a little close to the greens it would be great if you could stay 30 yards back. Thanks""
Needless to say, I won't be returning to Elk Run and I recommend you avoid it as well, unless you feel like getting screamed at by the staff there.
