After reading the above review I couldn't wait to get my haircut and color done by Melinda. I have never written a review in my life but I felt that I would be doing a diservice to other zealous future customers who like myself waited over a month for what they had hoped was service worthy of such a glowing review. Much to my disappointment after a 6week wait I was so embarrassed and disappointed with the results of my cut/color that not only did I not want to ever return, but I wished for a paper bag to throw over my head! She kept me waiting for 45minutes without any apologies and instead bragged to me about her previous ""high paying client"". I assume my service should've been free (note sarcasm) I did not receive a bargain, instead it was one of the highest priced hair services I've seen in the area. After detailed discussions of how to cut and color my hair she chopped it 4inches shorter than we had agreed upon and left me with a dowdy, frumpy and dated style that would have made a 10yr old look ancient. If that wasn't enough, we had agreed to add some ash highlights to my dark blonde hair, but she seemed to think purple highlights suited me better because that's what I left the salon sporting, much to my dismay. As I cried through my payment for the service she tried to convince me that she could rectify the situation by adding extensions to my now heinous purple butchered hair which she couldn't do for 6weeks as there were clients ahead of me. I don't think I'll be rushing to let her touch my head anytime soon let alone fork over another small fortune for extensions! IMHO enter at your own risk!
