I felt robbed when I left Toyota of Walnut Creek service center.
My front passenger window malfunctioned. They gave me an estimate of $183 for repair. Then they came up with diagnosis that both window and regulator are broken and asked for $665. I declined to proceed. They still charged me $160 (for just opening and closing the door, not even taking the pieces of broken glass away!). When I brought my car to another service, it turned out that the regulator was fine and only window needs to be replaced. The whole job including cost of the window in another service was $180.
In addition the technical adviser was very unfriendly and unpleasant, saying ""What's that?"" after every second word I said.
