Zero Liablity Service Dept. 7/30/2011

I got my G35 serviced here, and although everything was overpriced, they do somewhat compensate for it by giving you a loaner car with at flat $15 fuel charge no matter how much you drive (good or bad, you decide), complementary pickup/dropoff to your home or place of work anywhere in Fairfield county, and a full wash of your vehicle upon completion of service, including vaccuuming. Whether you utilizes these conveniences or not, you're paying for them in the cost of your repair. The terrible experience began when I noticed that they damaged the tint on my window while performing a repair. Some may argue that tints are illegal in CT or whatnot, however my vehicle is licensed and registered in a state where my tints, at 35%, are completely legal. They said that since this is an ""aftermarket"" part that they did not put on, they cannot be held responsible for the damage, even though they admitted fault. They stated that this ""happens all the time with window repairs"", and there there's nothing they can do. I spoke with both my service advisor as well as the service manager, no no avail. I will never go back to this overpriced Infiniti service center who takes zero liability for any damage they cause to your vehicle, ironically during repairs. I urge you to check out other dealerships in the area, as this was an absolute horrible experience. more
