I am from Iraq . I had an approval on my refugee status with USCIS way back in 2003. USCIS was just sitting on my adjustment of status request and they won't give me a greencard. A friend suggested that i meet Ms. Thawer and so i did. Ms. Thawer filed a complaint against all the concerned agencies including ICE and DHS . US Department of Justice reprimanded these agencies for inaction. Finally USCIS has confirmed to me that they will give me a decision within 30 days. i'm so relieved . Thanks Sherin, I wouldn't have known what to do on my own.
