This is a therapist who works really hard. He will expect you to work hard too. Therapy doesn't work, if the only one who is working at it, is the therapist! You have to work on your issues too. Denial doesn't work, you have to be willing to see that you need to change and to make the changes. I won't lie. It's not easy and it is painful. However, it's even more painful, to keep doing what you're currently doing, if you are sad and depressed.
