If you are considering to sign a lease with Reidy Creek I would STRONGLY urge you to run far away! Just like alot of the reviews, I agree that the management is HORRIBLE! On thanksgiving morning I woke up to the water heater exploding and flooding not only on the patio but my living room carpet and bedroom. I immediately called 24hr. maintenance who said he was busy in TJ with buying a car and will come to fix the problem in 4 hours. After 5 1/2 hrs past I called him to see where he was at and he said he was still in TJ and will get to Escondido within 2hrs. Mind you there is gobs of water flowing out of the water heater and we had no use of water in our home. After 2 more hrs pass I call him yet again with some anger to my voice and he finally said he will call the back-up maintenance guy who lived close. It was thanksgiving day, I planned to have quest over for dinner and it was not until 5:30p.m until I could start dinner and get a shower. It also took 3 days for them to come clean up the water that sat in the carpet. Under the crevices in the bathtub there is underlying mold that is under the bathtub itself that we addressed to the management more than 5 times during the time we lived there and never 1x did they come to access or fix it. My vehicles had gotten egg'd more than 4x while living there. Management thought it was funny and didn't care to look into the matter. Unfortunately I have NOTHING good to say about my experience with Reidy Creek. After my lease ended and I was moving, I was told by management that I would only be responsible for a $50 carpet cleaning that would come out of my deposit. After spending hours cleaning the apartment it looked much cleaner than when I was moving in. After receiving my check from my deposit, they charged me for carpet cleaning, paint touch-up and cleaning of the unit which cost $188. Each time I called to question them they always had an excuse that the manager wasn't in to help me. So I gave up being I moved to the East Coast and had no time to deal with their scam. If you decide to live in this dump, my advice is when your moving out to take pictures of EVERYTHING and whatever they tell you make sure you get a signature from them.
