I went to this shop because I am new to the area and saw a good review here. This guy must write his own reviews! I got quoted $2,000 to fix my transmission (wouldn't shift right) but told them I would have to wait to save up and then they charged me $400 for the 'free estimate' and if I didn't pay, they wouldn't give back my car. Then I took my car to the New Car Dealer for a second opinion and they showed me a disconnected wire under the car. the Dealer hooked the wire up and then said I just need the computer 'flashed' which ended up costing about $100, but the car is perfect now. I went back to Dealer Direct to complain about the $400 'estimate' and the short guy with beady eyes that said he was the owner, told me to 'f**k off"". I called the BBB and found out these guys are 'F' rated, and keep changing their name when they get too many complaints. While I was waiting to speak to the owner the girl (cashier?) who works there told me I got off lucky, a lot of people get liens put on their car titles there.
