HOrrible used car sales 7/22/2011

Amy Cartier and myself Jeremy Anderson went to purchase a used car from Dumark Auto Sales off of highway 10 in Anoka, MN when we arrived the car sales guy Ryan Dumark seemd to be a nice gentleman. We than looked at the 1995 Pontiac Bonneville and took the car for a test drive. While on the drive we noticed it did need a little work but we were ok of that as we needed a car immediately. After going into Mr. Dumarks office i Jeremy Anderson tried to offer him $900.00 instead of the $1,100.00 he was asking for as it neeeded work. Mr. Dumark than stated he had to get the $1,100.00 dollars for it as he paid that. I than asked what he was willing to do to give us a deal, Mr. Dumark stated he would pay for title transfer and new tabs as the tabs abot to expire end of July to help us out. We agreed that his offer was good enough. When July hit we were going to go get tabs as we noticed Mr. Dumark had not sent them to us but when calling him to ask he stated "" I have your tabs you can get them when you pay me the $40.00 it cost"" i began to ex[plain how we agreed on him doing that and title transfer as part of him not lowering price he began to get very upset and stated he will not giv us the tabs until we pay for them. I advised him i would be calling the police to have them get our tabs. I called the cops and had an officer give him a call to send us our tabs. Mr. Dumark stated to the cops "" I will send them in the mail today"" he than decided to leave town and 6 days later he mailed us our tabs after the tabs were already expired and the car was illegal and not drivable. Than we were attempting to sell our car and still had no title. We went to the DMV in Inver Grove Heights, MN to transfer the title of another we purchased and decided to try check the status of the title for the 1995 Pontiac Bonneville and they stated Mr. Dumark did not transfer title until June 16th which was 31 days after we purchased the car on May 7th. I Jeremy Anderson than called the Minnesota Publc Safety department and spoke to the drivers liscense and motor vehicle department where i was advised he legally only has 10 days to transfer the title by law. I tried to call Mr. Dumark to see if he was willing to give us money back or what he is going to do to make this situation correct. Mr. Dumark stated "" do not be mad at me because you bought the car and it is no good now i will do nothing for you"" he than began to get very mad when i stated i was going to call all the correct people to make sure he is not allowed to rip people off again. Mr. Dumark than stated to me "" you know what come to the shop i will hsow yo what i will do"" in a very threatening manner. I than stated i am hanging up and calling the authorities on this matter. more
