We had our vehicle fixed here after we hit a deer. The whole front end was smashed and a new radiator was put in. At first we thought they did a good job with the repair but after a few weeks we noticed red liquid leaking from the bottom. It was a 3 hour drive for us to take it back in and get fixed (which they did). The had to replace a bad gasket.
A couple of months later we went on vacation and a 1000 miles into the trip our vehicle overheated. To make a long story short we had to get a tow to the nearest auto shop. When the radiator was replaced at Rick's the hoses were put on wrong (hose going from the reservoir to radiator was hooked to the overflow and the overflow hose went to the radiator. The radiator was also capped where the intake hose attached to the radiator. So even if the radiator needed more coolant it would not be able to get any.
When I Rick's about the mistake (which cost us a day of our vacation and the $$ to repair it) they said they would reimburse me for the repairs and were very friendly about it. The person I talked with said a check was mailed out for the amount of the repair and I should have it in a couple of days. Needless to say the check never arrived and the person I was talking with stopped responding to me.
