Stay away! Run away! Run away! I would seriously reconsider before relying on Budget Truck Rental on a weekend, particularly if the end of the month falls on or adjacent to that weekend. Budget Truck Rental greatly 'oversells' (their word) at such times, and then when the weekend is approaching and you have your month-in-advance reservation confirmation in-hand, they will simply tell you that they have 'oversold' and won't have any trucks until the following Monday. Too bad, sucks to be you. Beware. At a minimum I suggest making an alternate reservation with at least one (and perhaps two, just to be safe?) other company in case Budget fails to come through. ***To add further insult to their already horrible service, the woman at the local rental center is incredibly unhelpful when this situation arises. If you attempt to ask basic questions such as ""what if you don't find a truck for the day you promised?"" or ""what are my options with Budget if you fail to provide the truck that you promised?"" she will refuse to answer (or even provide her name or the phone number of a Budget Customer Service representative.) When I attempted to ask these questions, she shouted into the phone ""I'm not going to help you! I'm cancelling your reservation!"" And
she hung up. I could go on, but it's too horrific to recount. Simply put, stay away, far away.***
