Management and sales staff of Pecos Fence have lied and not followed thru with our agreement or their promises. I paid nearly $8,000 for them to have some fence work done that is still incomplete and has very shoddy workmanship. The agreement was to move an existing privacy fence to a new location, dig up and remove the old post and install approximately 200 feet of wrought iron ornamental fencing. They broke off the old post at just above ground level and covered them up with dirt. When I removed the mounds of dirt, there were dangerous jagged wood protruding up for several inches. With my one year old granddaughter learning to walk, this could have been very dangerous. I called the company and reminded them they were to remove the old post. They informed me it was very hot that day and the removal would have been difficult, but someone would be out the next day to remove the old post and complete the capping of the iron post and replace several broken slats of the privacy fence they had broken. They did remove two of the old post, place caps on most of the post and replace most of the slats that were broken. I call again to state my lack of satisfaction and reminded them they had not completed the center locking bar on the 12 foot gate. They said they were sorry about forgetting the locking bar and would be out the next day to fix everything. That was 3 day ago and not even a phone call from them. I am a 67 year old disable veteran and only asking them to honor their contract and their work.
