I visited Gentiana Spa this weekend to cash in on a Dealfind voucher for a massage. The place was clean, great décor, overall very nice, but I’m not going to lie, the massage itself was less than stellar. I filled out the pre-massage sheet checking off the “firm-touch” box but what I basically got was lotion rubbed all over my body for 60 minutes. Not to say it was totally terrible, the table was comfortable and the music was nice, but I was expecting a little (okay, a lot) more. Not sure if the masseuse was new, but I felt more like something you would get for $15 at a massage school. Needless to say, thankfully I had that voucher otherwise I would have been upset paying $70 for the service I received.
