They forgot me during the labor and delivery or it seemed like my remote didn't work. By the time I got the nurses- ( both were incredibly sweet and I loved them- so probably this was not their fault so much as it was the equipment should have a light or a bell to let you know if it is actually paging the nurses?) - it was too late to get anesthesia. So I had to have the baby with nothing to help for pain. For a new facility the equipment should work. They suspected the baby would start to come around eight in the morning. Which could be why they never checked on me however they were supposed to be monitoring my contractions with the belt feed. No one came. \r
We paid out of pocket up front for the care. The rates were competitive with the surrounding hospitals. We had to arrange it all with the anesthesiologist on our own.
