Okay, well...I know nothing about plumbing, Im just a student at UH. I walked into this store thinking god, theres so much stuff how am i ever going to find what i need. But a nice young man walked right up to me and asked me how i was doing, what i was looking for. Well I was there looking to replace a couple of stems from this ancient leaking faucet probably as old as the bible. Also i needed to replace the pipes under my sink. Well this kid knew exactly what kind of stem i needed and he Had it! Then he even told me how to fix my running toilet. So any of you DIYers who dont want to patrol the internet or deal the homedepot types....all i can say is go to u-plumb-it.
Its located close to the heart of the montrose between allen pkwy and uhh w. gray next to that boat shop. Gibbs
