The rate was great, availability and resevervation set up was friendly. Check in was smooth and upbeat. Very positive energy. We stayed in a tower room with 2 queen beds and the room was of exeptional size, frig/micro/ closet storage and the bathroom was also generously sized.
The park is pristine, and the staff is full of smiles and goes the extra mile to ensure you're comfortable. The waterslides and attactions had very short lines, the lazy river was warm and relaxing and the 18 and over hot tub area a perfect place to relax without the little ones. The lockers were huge and computer controlled, no lines or waiting. Plenty of changing areas and even an electronic spinner to get the excess water out of suits etc.
The food was wonderful and of reasonable price, full menu and also HUGE buffets offered at all hours. Buffet had rosemary stuffed chicken as well as kiddie fare like mashed potato bites and chicket nuggets. We loved the broiled cod.
Best is the staff. Eager and upbeat and plentiful. Our waitress was named Carla ( ask for her, she will love it!) and she really made us comfortable took great care of us and kept us laughing.
Full bar open late and excellent extended option for room service uuntil late as well. Lobby has huge comfortable seating around a large fireplace. Great place to toast your toes after a day in the waterpark
Gobs and Gobs of kids activities arcade and panning for gems were a huge hit. Pretty cool prizes too and even old fashioned photos. No creepy stuffed kritters walking around, thank goodness. The gift shop has starbucks and tees and totes but we would have loved to buy a hoodie as it was still a chilly time of year.
Sure wish they had HOODIES!!!! lol
