Went into store to look around and saw a baby chinchilla being terrorized by an adult Chinchilla. We told them that unrelated Chinchillas should not be kept in the same cage. The poor baby was shaking and had a gash on it's neck. They removed the baby and indicated they knew nothing about caring for chinchillas. They should not sell animals if they aren't fully educated on how to care for them. I doubt they have given them the necessary dust baths that are required for healthy fur. They were housed in a wire cage and had no platform for them to rest on. The place was dirty and it didn't appear they cleaned cages often enough. I hope the little guy survives. He looked too young to have been separated from his mother.
