Had sprinkler system installed about 10 months ago. I thought they were a little expensive but sales person did a great job selling me on warranty, service etc.. Instalation crew did good job installing. Mid April I noticed a wet spot around a head and called for service. I felt this should be covered under warranty but found out differently. Repair tech, after showing up 45 min late for the appointment and having to BORROW A SCREWDRIVER from me, found a tiny speck of PVC shiver on the valve diaphram. He replaced, Diaphram Only, and this solved issue. Tech said that wasn't covered and I would be billed. I spoke with Office and and complained about them being late, tech not having proper tools and argued that repair should be covered and lady told me she would get with her boss and call me back. This was on or about 1st of May. Today, over a month later, I receive a bill for $151.55. $75.00 Service Call + Tax and $65.00 for repair on ""1 - inch Hunter PGV + Tax. No phone call as promised, Just a bill. \r
I do not have an issue with paying Service Call but I do when they show up late for appointment without calling and advising (My time is important also), me having to furnish the tools for the repair and then being over charged for a plastic diaphram. I feel I was charged for labor and parts to replace the valve when that didn't happen.\r
Also, good luck talking to someone when you call. All you get is a answer machine and they will call when they get time.
