It is a little difficult to write a bad review about a restaurant where the food quality is pretty high. However, considering the century and the place we are living in, other factors such as professionalism, customer service, etc are not only preferred but also required. I have heard many stories about the ""Hitler"" and ""Nazi"" owner of the place, but recently, after being a loyal customer to ?Nozawa?, I had my own experience from which I understood one think: no matter how good the food is, one has to respect himself/herself by not obeying to some nonsense rules created by some fish cutter and allowing that person to be rude with his customers, who yells at his guests by forgetting that these same customers are the source of the money that goes into his pocket every month. There are other good sushi places in LA, such as Iroha or Katsuya, where you feel that you are welcomed, which is not the case in Nozawa, depending on the chef?s ?mood of the day?. The owner is mentally misbalanced, rude and simply unhappy with his life. I prefer staying away from people like that and would suggest the same to those who had similar encounters with him. I respect myself enough to spend that $40.00 of lunch money in a restaurant where the customer service and the price range are on the same level.
