We went to Randy's for a special occasion dinner hoping the meal would be as wonderful as the lovely house the restaurant is located in. We never made it past a drink and appetizer. \r
\r
We were taken to a side dining room and had it all to ourselves. It was nice and quiet but it felt a bit strange to be the only diners when others were seated in another room. At any rate our server appeared to be not much older than high school age. He kept us waiting a very long time before he took our drink order. Then the drinks took a long time to arrive so we quickly ordered an appetizer before he left again. Then it was another long wait for our stuffed mushrooms to make it to the table. They were NOT worth the wait. We couldn't even eat them. They were soggy and almost cold.\r

After a long wait to see our young waiter again he asked why we didn't like the appetizer. We told him. Well he agreed that their appetizers weren't very good and that we should just stick to basics like steak and potatoes. He couldn't recommend anything else. \r
\r
We thanked him for being honest, asked him to take the appetizers off the bill and told him we would finish our drinks and go elsewhere to salvage the evening. He was very sweet and understood completely. \r

We thought that a manager might come by to apologize or comp our drinks for our wasted trip to their establishment. No, no one came and we left and haven't returned, won't return and suggest that diners not waste their time and money on Randy's. Sorry.
