Unsanitary disease ridden kennel 6/13/2011

I had been taking my two dogs to this kennel for almost a year. Initially the service was great. However, I noticed they started having more business and the conditions of the place and the service deteriorated. The first instance of disease was when I received an email notifying me that my dog had been exposed to an oral wart virus. The virus can lay dormant for up to 6 months so I have been checking my dogs mouths ever since. I understood and assumed this was an isolated event... but now I was just informed that there was a Giardia outbreak. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Two days prior to bringing my dogs to their kennel we had their annual Vet checkups $600 all in and the vet gave them a clean bill of health. When I explained my frustration to the owner her reply was ""it is only $50 exam per dog"". I was outraged because I trusted them with the care of my dogs (my babies) and had already spent $500 with them for their stay. She did not offer to do anything to ameliorate the situation and totally brushed off my complaint. more
