If I could select zero stars, I would have. In 2009, Christina CJ came out to fix my central A/C unit located in my attic. Prior to their visit, my furnace (the heat) was working. The following winter, however, the heat was not working. At that time, I tried to not let myself think the worst that the two were related. In January 2011, Christina CJ came out to fix my heat. I check the A/C unit the same day before the technician came out while checking the thermostat. The A/C was working. During the visit, the technician said that the only thing that was wrong was that the heat switch was off, but he flipped some switches and the heat should work. The heat did work, but the A/C no longer worked since that day. Because it happened again, I called Christina CJ to come out to correct its mistake (though I am not sure if it was accidental), and they refused. I told them that their technician must have turned off the A/C while he was ""flipping switches"" during the January visit, and after days of trying to get them to come out, they finally agreed to come out without charge to correct the problem. Christina CJ said that if it were just that they accidentally turned off the A/C switch, then they would correct it free of charge; if it were something that they could not have been responsible for, then they would call me, let me know the problem, and then only proceed if I agreed to the charge. That seemed fair, so I let them come out again. Of course, the problem was that the A/C switch was off, as I predicted, so all the technician did was flip the switch that their January technician turned off. Though they previously agreed to correct their mistake free of charge, they now tried to charge me for it. In the process of all of this, the technician (who I was on the phone with) hung up on me. I told them five times that they were not authorized to charge my credit card, which they had on file, based on what we agreed to the other day, but they told me that they ran my card anyway without my permission, which is illegal.
Outrageous and horrible customer service! All I can say is avoid this company. And if you go with them, don't trust them alone with your systems. They may decide to ""mistakenly"" turn off a switch so that you can call them back when the seasons change. I have reported them to the BBB.
