How does an individual adequately begin to thank someone for giving you the ?gift? of enhanced sight? This is my meager attempt to do just this. I had been extremely nearsighted since I was a young child, and had to wear glasses or contacts since that time. At the age of 52, I decided that one of my greatest wishes would be to eliminate the need to wear either one. I conversed with many friends and acquaintances who had had Lasik eye surgery and inquired not only about the procedure itself, but more importantly about the care each had received from his/her doctor. I was searching for a doctor who would be a part of my evaluation and care from the onset. I wanted a doctor who would take the time to discuss my needed correction and answer my numerous concerns. I realized in this day and age that this would be an ideal doctor/patient situation. However, I found the ideal eye doctor upon first meeting you, Dr. Mazaheri. On my subsequent visits to your Dallas office you personally administered all testing and patiently answered any questions as they arose about the Lasik proceedure and out come. Your involvement from start to finish was of much comfort and helped to relieve any anxieties I felt. Due to you skill and perfectionism, immediately following my Lasik eye surgery I was able to see at a distance for the first time in my life without corrective lenses of any kind! Dr. Mazaheri and staff, please accept this letter as my expression of deep gratitude and appreciation. It must be a wonderful feeling for you to be able to help the vision of so many. I am blessed to be one of your Lasik patients and to have been a recipient of your ?gift?.
