Yes, it only costs a dollar, but it is made of cheap plastic and when you get it home it doesn't work - and they don't take it back. Or the batteries are completely dead. Or you buy frozen food and it makes you sick every time (can't be a coincidence).
What finally did it, was that the management was not helpful and did not treat me like a valued customer when I had a problem.
There are other dollar stores in Santa Cruz, I shop there now instead.
