HUH???!!! Those few foul, off-base reviews - all in late December - make you wonder if there is some kind of semi-organized vendetta and character assassination going on!!!
Really!!! We've been taking four dogs to Dr. Hicks for more than five years and he is EASILY one of the most knowledgeable, experienced, skilled and compassionate vets I've encountered anywhere - and we've lived in North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania as well as Texas.
In fact, we ran into a very questionable, opportunist vet in Katy some years ago - that gave us an """"emergency"""" call when we were in vacation in Las Vegas, trying to sell us some expensive - and completely unnecessary - dental work on a 12-year-old dog.
Dr. Hicks, by contrast, is highly principled and caring, and has been known to make """"house calls"""" at night to ranches to attend to sick horses. THAT'S how caring and expert Dr. Hicks is!
