I was a regular customer here through most of 2006. I went for regular eyebrow waxes and once in a while for mani/pedi. They're quick and they're good at it. La-Or - the thai woman who owns this nail salon - does permanent makeup and spa treatments. She has several skilled manicurists on staff and there are 4 manicure stations lined up on the right side of the wall and 2 pedicure spas to the left. They have a backroom and a room upstairs for spa treatments and waxing. I really only stopped going there because I'm not very good at making appointments for waxing so every time I showed up, I had a different person wax my brows. I like to have the same person do them because they know what I want each time.
The prices here are great - I think La-Or mentioned to me once that her prices haven't increased since the 1980s. I would avoid here at lunch time because it gets packed with lunch crowds due to the location in the Underground. I think brow wax is $10 and mani/pedi is very reasonable - I will have to look at their pricing and update this post.
I took advantage of their $75 special once and this is a must if you want to be pampered for almost 3 hours. For $75 you receive a European facial, Spa pedi, mani and eyebrow wax. I can't think of a better deal in the DC area. I left there feeling 100% revived, refreshed, rejuvenated.
