That is the cateringhalls responsibility to be liable 4 anything that happens inside their facilities, but they wont let anyone do their job until u pay a fee for their ""insurance company"" They didnt open the doors 4 my guest til EXACTLY 8 elderly people n guests that drove 4 hours couldnt get to their seats cuz they wudnt open the doors appetizers were served cold cuz the outside caterer wasnt allowed to fry them fresh in the frier cuz apparently our food is not holy or sth to even touch their equipment that was not said in the contract. The banquet manager Igor should get fired but of course he cant cuz he is related to the owner The waiters moved my cake n COLLASPED IT. wat idiot pushes the table with the cake to make the table move INSTEAD OF THE TABLE. my cake fell as we cut it but of course they dont speak english so even if u were to tell them inadvance their brains wouldnt comprehend. All the non-kosher plates n stuff 4 stations were not as nice as the ones shown the day we booked only for kosher weddings. what kind of discrimination is this? WHY WOULD THEY LET SOMEONE BOOK UR ROOM IF YOU KNEW THEY WERE NOT KOSHER N NOT LET THEM USE ANYTHING? they did not make any effort to make sure everything of ur wedding went perfect. The party just started to really heat up n BAM Igor takes the wires out of the speakers of the band that I PAID SEPARATELY 4 n says parties over. I WAS WILLING TO PAY EXTRA NOT ONLY FOR THE HOUR MORE THAN THAT TO LET US STAY and he still would not except it. He acted as if he owned that hall himself. The singer was not allowed to sing for the rest of the party we had to beg the technician to play some songs on our ipods to conclude the party everyone is staring at him on the dance floor like hes crazy. he just obviously wanted to ruin my wedding after giving him the money right then and there. I DIDNT EVEN GET TO DANCE WITH MY DAD i still cry n VALET everything was jacked and stolen from a number of guests cars, the police were called n 2 arrests were made the men hired 4 driving the cars DIDNT EVEN HAVE DRIVER'S LICENSES we were lucky none of the cars were stolen. Igor had the nerve to say ""how do we know if there were really any valuables in the car in the first place"" No one deserves to be talked down or yelled at the day of the wedding he is just disgusting. Someone that wants u to pay for insurance and top notch BS how do u hire illegal people to drive $50K mercedes and lexus? Its not like u can park on the street either the sanitation department n automotive warehouses surround the building in the ghetto of queens After the party was over Igor still argued for an hours worth of money which was $2500 in reality this conversation is taking place outside the catering hall at 1:30 he is like ""its past your time and ur guests are still in my building."" YOU A**HOLE they r waiting for the valet to bring their cars that apparently u have no one to left to drive and they are standing in the lobby. I rele dont understand he still had an attitude even after i paid him the money he didnt deserve to charge and was still not satisfied. Even though the room is beautiful i suggest u take ur money and have ur party elsewhere i beg u to not book here they ruined my wedding n the money time effort and everything aside, they did not leave me with a great once in a life time memory. I cant re-throw my wedding what was even more stomach turning was how the waiters smoking in the doorway bickered and said ""not again"" implying that this situation obviously happened again. DO NOT BOOK HERE DO NOT GET FOOLED BY THE PRETTY CHANDELIERS PLEASE The floating stage is a distraction from what a sh**hole this place really is its ashame I wish i knew i would have rather had the wedding of my dreams in my basement :(
