I went on line looking for a repair man, had left my phone # and address and described my problem. I NEVER confirmed and appointment or spoke to anyone to come to my home at anytime. I had called A company that had excellent ratings Robert Creighton Appliances and scheduled an appointment with them and ONLY with them....I recieved a call while I was outside and was able to pic up the call before the lady hung up. She stated that the repair guy would be there in 15 min., I said fine. The guy arrived and came in and started to do his job, gave me an estimate of $400 plus, to fix all this stuff....while he was fixing it my door bell rang and it was a repair man..I said there is one already here...who are u? Well the one at the door was the one I had called and made the appointment with..from ROBERT CREIGHTON APPLIANCES which was Robert....The one in my kitchen I had no clue who he was...I had him stop on the spot and asked him who he was and why was he here. I never confirmed or made an appointment with your company. He said to me well they called u and told u i would be here in 15 min. and you say ok....OMG..first of all I assumed it was the company that I did make the appointment with and I did not here the name of the company when she did call. He stated that I saw his truck...well his truck had no company name on it ...all it said was APPLIANCE REPAIR on a white van. They took it upon themselves to just show up and on top of that try to RIP me off BIG time....he put everything back as it was, and I had him leave....and WOULD NOT give him a penny for anything he had done which was just a cleaning. The next guy Robert from Robert Creighton Appliances who I originally called took over...within 15 minutes he tells me your frig. is fine all it needed was a cleaning, and if in the future you need the part that this guy was charging you for that you DID NOT need it would run you less than 1/2 of what he was going to charge you. Go figure!! Robert did not charge me one cent...He was very nice,respectful and most of all Honest..!!! He knew how much the other guy was trying to charge me and could have charged me the same if no more...I recommend you to go with this other company that had great reviews..All my frig. need was a maintence cleaning and this guy from Allen and Sons was telling me I needed all this other stuff..Be careful and always get the companies name....I would call Robert back in a heart beat and I will recommend this company to all my friends and family...They are the best...Its hard to find an Honest person or company..This is the one to pick...Thank You Robert...!!!!!
