Rude customer service (not all of the agents, but one in particular very rude and acted like I was dumb). I simply needed to know a "time frame", not a specific time, of the tech's arrival to my home. It was a prescheduled appointment that was made several days in advance wherein I stated the appointment needed to be an a.m. appt. or another day altogether. It was confirmed by the agent on the phone that this was not a problem, I would have an a.m. appointment. I was very specific with the times and was told no problem. When making a call to the company mid-morning of the day of the appointment, it was stated by a rude person that there was no way she could tell me when the tech would be here, he would be here when he was able to get here. I don't appreciate being talked to by someone like I have no intelligence. She called the tech and still came back on the line saying she did not know, had no idea. She could not even tell me where I was on his list of appointments. It's ridiculous. I was very specific regarding the appointment and would have been happy to schedule it on my full day off from work... Regarding the tech on the original appointment, he spoke very little, was not interested in answering my questions (I know a lot about appliances and how they work). He just brushed me off, never once looked at me when I was talking to him. I tried to tell him to place the water hose into the drain before he turned the appliance on, but he did not listen. Guess what happened: water gushed out all over my hardwood flooring. I asked him if he could also replace the copper water line from the appliance to the water pipe with a rubber line (easy) and he said absolutely not that I needed to hire a plumber for that. He just did not want to do it, even though it needed replaced because the copper line was bent. I don't appreciate folks coming into my home and treating me like I have no sense because I am a woman. Bad mistake. When I am treated like that by a company, I will not give a good review, ever, no matter how good they are in other areas. It makes a difference. The original lady that I spoke to when I made the original appointment was very very nice and accomodating. Word of advice to men that come to do work in a home where a woman is there: treat her with respect and look at her when she is talking to you; answer her LEGITIMATE questions.
