What used to be National Forest land is now place to the Enchantment Resort located in a sacred canyon. The first time I drove to the location, I could not believe that someone was allowed to build a development in such a place. Having read up on the history of its development, I now realize why the Forest Service no longer is open to land trades with private property owners.
Other than the underlying history, I must say to anyone who is considering a resort at the high end, to consider it for a secluded, peaceful, serene environment. If you are staying in Sedona, go there to eat to check out the sunset views....as the rocks are magic at sunset.
