Where do I start....
When I pulled up from the outside I never would have thought it was elegant on the inside. When I got to the door I was greeted and the door was opened for me. A+
Was asked if my jacket could be hung up and if I wanted a refreshment. A+
While I was waiting and it starts to go down hill from here... I was walking around and over heard a few of the employee's complaining. It made me want to get up and really look at the atmosphere. Once I took a good look around and really looked ... the staff looked like they were on edge a few of them looked exhausted.
During my service the conversation was ok at first then the service provider began to gossip about some of the staff. I found that very unprofessional. I go to my next service and again the same thing. So I started to think ok it looks good but just because it looks good it may just not be good for me.
At checkout I was bombarded with products and felt pushed to get pre-booked.
I for one love Aveda products and the normal experience I get at other Aveda concept locations. Was not impressed with this location as far as service. I did like the spa area except for being able to hear the washer and dryer and closing of doors.
I agree with some of the good and bad reviews the Aveda experience was not what you would receive at a high end Aveda location. So I guess with this salon it is what you make it and what you expect. This location still has a long way to go to get a truly earned 5 star. A+ for some of the added touches like opening the door, allowing me to sit while you checked me in etc... D- for some of the conversation. B- for attempting to do what is expected at an Aveda concept location... the salon & spa experience but the staff as a whole needs to perfect it.
This location has good and bad just need more consistency.... Oh and an fyi if you don't like loud music the salon experience is not a good one or one I recommend the music was very loud and at times the music selection was questionable.
