I recently moved to the area and needed to board my four cats. I chose this vet based on the wonderful reviews that I read. The cost for the boarding was reasonable, but the added costs were a bit extreme. I understand the need for Capstar, but all four cats were required to have a bath before I picked them up. The cost of the bath was not listed, but would be discounted for boarders. This discounted bath was $18.00 per cat. Capstar for four cats was $20. Bio Hazard waste removal was $2.50 per cat. The cost of boarding was $18.00 per day. So, instead of the quoted $18.00 per day, the cost is actually $18.00 per day plus an additional charge of $25.50 per cat. My boarding bill for 4 cats for 3 days was $318.00. While this was a cost I was willing to pay of quality care, what I did not expect was to pick-up my cats, then discover one was noticeably sick when I got home.
