I have never been subject to such unprofessional treatment as in the Merced Costco store today, Sunday, 12:00 on 5/1/2011 by Winnie, the front end manager. I shopped approcahed the check out, they rung up my purchases and told me that my membership ran out yesterday, and I would need to pay them $100 right now to make the purcjhase. I told them I was not prepared today to pay the fee, and started to leave. Then Winnie approached asked for my membership card rudely, snatched iot from my hand and said you can have this back when you renew at the service desk. I WAS a long standing Business mmeber....not any longer!
