On May 4th 2011 I went in for a new hair style. Was hoping that Tabitha was working but found out that she no longer worked there, so i was ""assigned"" to Shannon Thompson. Mistake #1. I knew that he had previously worked at Crossroads Mall at Master Cuts, and had already known that he had a bad rep and had ""screwed up"" lots of people's hair. But....I needed to get my hair cut really bad that day, as it was my only day off, so I decided to go for it, hoping that he had improved his skills. Mistake#2. First of all, I carried a picture of the exact hairstyle I wanted. He told me that my hair could not be cut like that because it would not do right. I knew that it could, because I have had it that way before. To shorten this story, he totally screwed up my hair to the point that I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. Oh, and by the way, I went to Billie & Co. and I highly recommend them! Sherry, there, was able to fix my hair and cut it to look exactly how I wanted! Imagine that! I would like to have a refund from Libby, but I know that she is the type person to not do that. I decided to never go there again, and I am telling everyone I know about my bad experience with a very uneducated stylist named Shannon. Not to my surprise, so far, the people I have told have already heard about his incapabilities. Never go there, please visit Billie & Co. here in Beckley! They are super nice and KNOW what they are doing. Plus the rates are very reasonable, unlike Libby's who is very high priced for the low quality work. I was also appauled by the behavior of Libby. She seems to be more of an ""escort"" type rather than a professional hairstylist.
