Gamecock Fencing - Kenny Parker Owner 5/18/2011

I called and spoke with Kenny Parker on May 16 2011, the owner apparently, and asked for an after hours estimate. It was going to be free because I live in Elgin. The next day Bubba Parker and another employee showed up to do the estimate. I advised them to not go near the current temporary fencing because of a female dog that does not like strangers. I also turned off our hot wire horse fencing. They proceeded to measure & look at a drawing of what I was wanting. They dug out holes as markers in the grass which I jokingly stated that that wasnt just grass it was food...we all laughed. The continued with their measuring. Both of them complimented me on the property then we shook hands & Bubba was gooing to give me a call the next day with the estimate. About 15 minutes later I got a message from Kenny Parker..this is the message word for word..Yes Maam this is Kenny Parker of Gamecock fencing I sent my son & one of my workers down there. I understand you got on them about kicking the grass where they measured & I understand one of your dogs bit em & we aint interested in doing your job because evidently you dont know what your talking about so we dont need to do business & you cant afford me anyway. So you have a niiice weekend & dont call me no more. Now, I am sure that the real reason that they didnt want to do the job is because it is a small job. But had they taken the time to look around they would have seen where there is PLENTY of fence work that needs to be done...but this small area is the necessity at the moment. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone ...even if I didnt like the person. If anyone would like to hear the message I have transferred it to a tape recorder. Thanks & I added the one star because I had to in order for the review to save..they dont deserve the one star. more
