I called before I went. The day I called was a few days after April the 23rd. I had just dropped of some rented formal attire at Walkers on Baum Drive. I do know it was after 4:30 pm. I spoke to a lady. Did not get her name. I explained to her that I had a flower girl dress that my niece wore in my wedding that needed cleaning. She placed me on hold so that she could get the correct price. The lady quoted me $11 and change. I said great because US Cleaners was going to charge me $28 and change. I said to myself this a good deal.
Dropped the dress off. It was ready when they told me is was going to be ready. Had my wife to go and get the dress out of the cleaners and WHOA it was 3 times more than they quoted me. It ended up being $34 and change to get the dress cleaned. If I knew it was going to be this I would have never had it cleaned there. I would have shopped around more. I don't know if it was a miscommunication or what but I do know in my phone converstion with the Crowne Cleaner Rep that I specifically said I had a flower girl dress that need to be cleaned. Other than this the dress was cleaned to the best of their ability. The initial encounter I had with them was VERY friendly. There were some very small spots they could not remove and I STILL had my wife pay them the $34 and change. Sold the dress on eBay and did not make all the $34 and change back that Crowne Cleaners charged me for this they get 2 stars.
