I am not familiar with the Buffalo area but Glen Campbell Chevrolet is one of two Saturn authorized service dealers in the area. I own a 2003 Saturn ION. I was having metal on metal friction when braking that was alarming. I took it to Glen Campbell for their mechanics to diagnose the problem. They told me it was the front brakes. I had them do the work. A week later I started to hear the same exact noise when braking. I took it back to Glen Campbell. Their diagnostic this time was that the noise was coming from the snow tires against the dry pavement. The Saturn was bought in Charlotte, NC and I still use the ""Saturn of Charlotte"" key chain. The mechanic must have seen this and decided he didn't want to do a proper diagnostic and made up this garbage about the snow tires. Because apparently people in the south can't recognize the difference between a metal on metal friction and a rubber on asphalt friction. For the next three weeks I continued to hear the metal on metal friction when braking. Until I experienced total rear brake failure. Thanks for doing a thorough job Glen Campbell, I almost died because of your negligence. I am no longer in Buffalo and will probably not return so there is no potential of me ever returning to Glen Campbell Chevrolet for any type of service. I would highly discourage anyone from bringing your car here.
They also advertise a free car wash with any service. But you need to specifically tell them you want your car washed or they won't do it.
