I am almost shocked to write this review. A year and a half ago, Jeff Bracken cut down a lot of trees in exchange for power saws and a lot of euqipment. All good. I am a micro customer on a $200/job budget. Nobody is supposed to lose money running a business. A couple of weeks ago, I called Jeff and told him I had $200 and next time he ws n Hillsborough, I needed him to do bring his loader and do some heavy lifting. I called last week and said I've got $200 bucks, when are you next in Hillsborough--add me on to a big job you have. ""We're scehduled for Thursday,"" said his brother Terry. Long story short, no call, no show. Called to discuss, no return call. Intervening factor: Kim Deaton, his stump removal guy, promised me max. 4 hours of stump removal and tilling in exchange for several hundred dollars worth of msc. stuff. Strung me along, 15 no shows, going through divorce, restraining order, domestic violence?. After 15 no-shows, I blasted Kim. No doubt, he communicated that to jeff bracken. Jeff might want to reevaluate who he sides with, as I may be poor now, but there's always the power of the pen. So Jeff Bracken turned from good guy into a bad guy--just another promise-beaker. Not because he didn't come for a lousy one hour of clearing (which has taken me 6 days to do by hand) but because he wasn't man enough to address the oissue. Bottom line: boycott JB Tree Service and Kim Deaton.
