I made this decision based on his professional expertise, distinguished surgical record and attentiveness to patients needs balanced with realistic expectations. I am a 30yr old male and yet my mother, a senior state health inspection official, concluded an exhaustive search of his credentials with the Texas Board of Medical Examiners. She informed me of a few patient complications associated with Dr. Maggi's work but those issues were quickly addressed by the staff at the Plastic Surgery Center and Dr. Maggi himself. On May 17, 2011, I underwent the procedure I had dreamt about my whole adult life. The procedure lasted about 3 hours and the post-operative recovery has been almost painless and that is no exaggeration. It has been three days since the operation was performed and currently 90% of the bruising is gone with some residual swelling likely to remain for several more days. I could not be more happy with the results thus far. I was worried that my nose may appear to be unnatural but the exact opposite is true, it fits my facial profile appropriately and the symmetrical balance of my nose is amazing. I would highly reccommend Dr. Maggi and his very professional staff to anyone considering this procedure. It has all been worth it, I am thrilled with the results and would encourage you to follow through with the procedure you've always wanted.
