We were so excited about our first Tennessee mountains family vacation...then reality set in when we got there....cabin #819 Cozy Country was NOT what we expected...the pics on the website showed a larger, cleaner cabin...IT WASN'T!..... needs upgrades badly...on the front porch before walking in the door the patio furniture was FILTHY...no morning coffee out there...once we entered there were stains on the carpet...frayed edges of carpet...sofa/loveseat had dead bugs on it & in window seals every where...under the pillows of sofa/loveseat there was trash...it was obvious that NO vacuuming had been done to the cabin...dining rm table was DISGUSTING...kitchen OMG!...soiled & greasy potholders..drink stains on shelving in fridge...DID NOT USE Hot Tub at all...shower head broken in bathroom....broken blinds...broken window screens on flr...bed linen had pet hair...IF PETS HAVE BEEN THERE PREVIOUSLY WE SHOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN...ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES WE HAVE EVER HAD...We did not have great comments for Firesides survey...upon check out we arrived before 8am waiting for the office to open & it did not open until 8:45 am...employees were standing outside waiting for someone to open up....the person at the reservation desk offered no apologies and said someone would call us back...WE DO EXPECT A REFUND! DO YOUR RESEARCH! FIND ANOTHER CABIN RENTAL COMPANY...NOT FIRESIDE CHALETS...
