I had a perfectly healthy baby at home with Dana Albillo from Common Ground Midwifery. Both baby and I were monitored closely throughout the labor. My daughter was a bigger baby and delivery was difficult as she had some shoulder dystocia. Dana handled it confidently and was able to help maneuver her out safely. I fear in a hospital I would have had a forceps delivery.
My good friend, husband and children were present and were treated like part of the team. Dana and her assistant were professional, courteous and incredibly supportive.
I received all of the same tests, screens, exams and advice that anyone at a hospital might receive, but I also spent an hour at every prenatal visit getting to know and trust the wonderful people who guided me through the most intense experience of my life so far.
I would not hesitate to recommend Dana and Common Ground Midwifery to anyone.
