It's Mothers Day 2011 - just returned from dining at Picano's for dinner. Service was awful - Our waitress forgot to take the order of one person in our party. We waited over an hour for our food, which was mediocre at best. During that time, our waitress did not come around to see if we needed or wanted anything, including beverage refills. Manicotti was crunchy, dried out dough, and burnt around the edges. Lasagna was forgettable. While our waitress did apologize for the wait, at the end of our meal, she was more than ready to take our money and clear the table for the next patrons. Never even offered anything as compensation for waiting such as a complimentary dessert, something to keep customers coming back. If ever a restaurant needs Gordon Ramsay's help, this one does. Needless to say we won't be back. The cost alone, which was close to $150 for all pasta dishes with no alcoholic drinks, for 6 people was ridiculous, given the quality of the food. A very disappointing meal.
