Hakatamon has had its ups and downs over the last few years. This was mostly due to changes in the kitchen and a paucity of waitstaff, but they seem to be back on target. I have had few complaints about the quality of sushi, but orders from the kitchen, even the miso soup have been quite bad in the past. I often order the Udon soup for lunch or dinner, and I have had a couple of poor experiences with warm (not HOT like it's supposed to be) broth in the pm. Service speed has improved significantly now that there is more then one person waiting on tables!
