FPW opened in my neighborhood a couple of months ago. I walked in over the weekend after seeing the signage and I met the owner, Carsten. He was very approachable and not ""salesy"" like the men and women that greet you at most other gyms. He truly runs the place as a venue for fitness and nutrition and not like a business designed to drive a only traffic and revenues. Carsten has invested in all new equipment and everything is state of the art and in superb shape. FPW also has one of the best collections of free weights of any gym I've been to in the city, which is important for people that want strength training. I work out 4-5 times per week and he is almost always with one of what seems to be a very loyal base of clients. Carsten has also offered me exercise tips and nutritional advice at no additional charge. He seems to be that kind of trainer, but I don't expect that from most of the others I've met.
I highly recommend this gym if you seek the three items in my subject line. Pricing is VERY reasonable as well.
