When we were moving in, we found a few dead cockroaches in the kitchen cupboards. In the next few days, we saw live ones in the kitchen. The management responded within a couple of days and sent an exterminator, who determined there was an infestation in one of the neighboring apartments. The roaches were gone for a few weeks, and then came back. Now, the management has changed (apparently, they ""let go"" the entire office staff), and the response has been much slower.
We get a smoke-filled bathroom every morning and every evening from one of our neighbors' smoking. The management has tried to seal places in the bathroom, but that did nothing. They have so far refused to do anything else about it.
Aside from that, the apartment is lovely, and quiet, in a great neighborhood. Parking is not much of an issue. The neighbors are mostly asian immigrants. There are always kids playing outside in the parking lot, but after 10pm it's usually very quiet. For some reason, there are a lot of smokers here. Although there are signs saying not to smoke near entrances, they still do it. So the stairways are filled with smoke.
To sum up, if you don't mind cockroaches and lung cancer, this is a nice apartment.
