Okay...we all can pretty much agree that the prices for a salad bar can be pretty steep. More often than not, when I would go to Souper Salads I had a hard time justifying the price I was paying for the quality of food (which IS NOT BAD; it just could be better in my opinion).
So let's just say someone out there had this same experience but said to themselves, I wonder if this healthy self-serve experience might could be improved? Well, that's basically what Sweet Tomatoes is. Gone are the dingy carpets, pizza pies of questionable age and the overstuffed booth-style seats that surely hold upwards of an entire meal within their folds we usually associate with humdrum locales! Instead you will find attractive, CLEAN metal-and-wood style flooring and seats that feel like a hybrid between hippieland and the industrial age. Your salad bar looks and feels a similar fashion, complete with easy-to-read signs and descriptions of what is before you (so if you're a vegetarian or have a specific diet regimen, you can cut out the guessing game). There's also a better dessert bar and more drink varieties, including fantastic fresh lemonade. Can YOU say that, mr. Souper Salad? I think not.
